What is the J-Tank?
The Jessye Norman School of the Arts is excited to host a “Shark-tank” style event to assist young entrepreneurs and their families to take their interests and passions to the next level!
How does it work?
JNSA will pair households of students with mentors who will assist them in developing and pitching business concepts to participate in the first ever J-tank, where students and their families will present their ideas to a panel of judges.
20 Finalists will be enrolled in the tuition-free, 13 week J-tank Academy that will assist them in all aspects of developing a business, including planning, design, branding, accounting, and sales.
Upon successful completion of the program requirements, families will receive up to $500 to assist with start-up funding.
