Troy Campbell: Rhythms

Troy Campbell is a visual artist and musician working in Eastern-inspired collage and calligraphic marks. After receiving his BFA from Augusta College in 1993 he has had solo exhibitions at the V. Reed Gallery in Atlanta, Mary Pauline Gallery in Augusta, Judy Saslow Gallery in Chicago, Kress Gallery in Asheville has participated in juried exhibitions at the Slidell Cultural Center in Louisiana and Augusta’s Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art and Westobou Festival.

Professionally he has painted scenery and constructed properties for many different theaters including the Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown, NY, Actor’s Theater of Louisville in Louisville, KY, The Flat Rock Playhouse in Flat Rock, NC as well as New York University. He has also toured with Recycled Percussion, Dragon Tales Live and The Big Apple Circus.

Mr. Campbell served in the United States Army as a soldier and bandsman and was honorably discharged in 2012. He received a Masters of Art degree in International Studies from Texas State University in 2015.
